| Team Leader: Michelle James In January 2004, I took my first One StrokeTM painting class. From that first lesson, I was hooked! After learning the basics, and having the desire to practice, practice, practice, I decided to take the leap to becoming an instructor. I became an In-Home ArtTM Teacher in May, 2004, teaching classes in home parties. I desired to learn more and be able to teach in retail centers, so I attended One StrokeTM Certification instruction in July 2005 and became a One StrokeTM Certified Instructor (OSCI). I continue to expand my education in the creative arts and have achieved the following certified instructor levels to date: - Level II OSCI
- High-Definition Certified Instructor
- Studio Home Dimensions Certified Instructor
- Elite OSCI & Certifying Elite Director
As a One StrokeTM Certifying Elite Director, I am able to instruct and certify other painters as OSCI's. I am also a Crafty Wave Team Member - providing multi-craft-based classes and kits to my students. In late 2010, I opened my home-based studio to teach classes, certifications and workshops. In addition to being an instructor, in 2006 I started my art sales business - La Mia Arte. I travel to local art & craft shows, selling my hand-painted glassware and canvas - all of which are available through this website as well. I really enjoy the relaxing, creative and inspirational aspects of decorative painting. Over time I have discovered that art and creativity are a part of my spirit. I firmly believe the ability to create lies in all of us - because we were created by God in His image. Because He is a Creator -our Creator - we too are blessed to have a creative nature. I encourage everyone to awaken their God-given creativity. Click Here To View Her Projects

| Lori Puszakowski-Schmidt Bio Coming Soon! Click Here To View Her Projects | | Colleen Ellis Colleen has always had a love for crafting. As a self taught Tole Painter she began painting decorative art for pleasure and profit 20 years ago. Her true passion for painting began when she discovered the One Stroke Method of painting. She realized how much time and effort was saved by blending, shading, and highlighting all in one stroke of the brush. This passion led to a desire to share this with everyone who has an interest in learning to paint. She became a Level I instructor in January of 2005 and began teaching right away. Never did she imagine how gratifying teaching others to paint would be for her. Her new passion for teaching challenged her to become even more proficient in the One Stroke Method of painting. She attended the first Level ll certification that Donna offered in Florida in February of 2007. A full schedule keeps her quite busy with teaching at Hobby Lobby in Peoria, Arizona 3 classes a week as well as The Craft Retreat in Glendale, Arizona 2 classes each week and 3 more classes at local community centers. Did I mention she loves One Stroke? She is happy to be part of the Dewberry Design Team and have the opportunity to work with Donna and all of the talented team members. | Contributing/Guest Designers | | Sandy Mctier Sandy has always had a passion for creating! She was first introduced to the One Stroke painting technique when she saw Donna on PBS in 2002. She started watching her everyday and taught herself the OS method at her kitchen counter. She became a One Stroke Instructor in November 2005 and at the time had no intention of teaching. A very good friend of hers called one day and said “I heard you do One Stroke – will you teach me?” Her friend brought a friend and before Sandy knew it she had 6 of them around her kitchen table several times a month learning how to paint. Sandy currently teaches at Hobby Lobby in Warner Robins, GA and loves that she gets to share her passion for One Stroke and Studio Home Dimensions with others. In January 2008, Sandy became a Studio Home Dimensions Certified instructor and in March 2008 completed the High Definition Certification. In December 2008, Sandy became a SHD Regional Trainer and is ready to certify YOU! Sandy saw the huge potential of the SHD program and how it could enhance what she was already doing and it certainly has. In November 2008, Sandy completed Level II and the Pro.Home Specialist Certification in March 2009. She is currently completing her Elite notebook and hopes to soon become a Certifying Elite Director. "Education is key to what we do! Continuing to learn so that you can become a better artist, teacher and in turn a better YOU!" Click Here To View Her Projects |
| April Numamoto As a young child, I always loved to paint and never imagined that I would be painting as an adult and making a living. Teaching and painting has always been an important part in my life, and to teach a technique which every one can learn is even more rewarding. I have a very supportive family, especially my husband who puts up with my crazy schedule. I have been fortunate to accomplish many of my goals such as teaching at painting conventions around the country, scroll saw classes, woodworking to young children and painting murals in homes and businesses.
